Corporal Lisa McMullin has been a member of the RCMP for over 22 years and specializing in Domestic Violence for the last 10 years. In November 2019, Lisa started her current role as managing the B-SAFER and ICAT portfolios for the Province through Crime Prevention Services at "E"Division Headquarters. Prior to this she worked in the Domestic Violence Unit at the Vernon Detachment where she was co-chair for the North Okanagan Integrated Case Assessment. Lisa has participated in several conferences on domestic violence as well as completed several threat assessment workshops. She strongly believes in the corroborative approach to Domestic Violence as it is not only a family issue, it is also a community issue. During this last half of her career, Lisa has not only helped victims of abuse, she is also very dedicated to the awareness training in communities on the dynamics of domestic violence which is a key foundational base in order to best support families.
