Based in Toronto, PJ Nyman earned his Master’s degree in Social and Political Thought from York University, where he also taught and published in critical sociology and philosophy. Formerly a program and campaign manager at one of the largest farmed animal sanctuaries in the U.S., PJ is now the Corporate Engagement Manager for Mercy For Animals where they work with prominent Canadian food companies to ban some of the cruelest practices affecting animals in the food system.
