Brittany Semeniuk is a veterinary nurse who specializes in emergency and exotic animal medicine. She has devoted her life to the advancement of animal welfare around the world. From rescuing Asiatic black bears from Vietnam’s bear bile trade, to running dog sterilization clinics in the forests of Madagascar, Brittany has years of broad and varied experience working to improve the well-being and alleviate the suffering of a range of animal species that live alongside human populations. She is currently based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba where she works as an animal welfare consultant for the Winnipeg Humane Society, developing educational campaigns to enhance the welfare of Canadian farm animals.
