Dani LaGiglia, Community Grants Manager for PetSmart Charities of Canada, is focused on strategic grants that impact the health and wellbeing of pets and pet parents in communities across Canada’s provinces and northern territories. Dani joined PetSmart Charities of Canada in 2016, bringing a wealth of previous grantmaking experience managing grant funding related to environmental justice, housing insecurity and Indigenous justice. Dani’s passion for pets and social causes intersect in her current role as she works to help pet parents in need keep and care for their pets. Dani is an active volunteer in her community, lending her time and expertise to a wide variety of organizations and causes ranging from animal welfare to arts, racial equity, housing insecurity and LGBTQIA rights. She’s a proud pet parent of an 11 year old red lab named Clementine and a 7 year old Belgian malanois named Harley.
