Subah is a Human Resources and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Professional, who joined Toronto Humane Society, in 2020, to develop an effective DEI program and execute various inclusive initiatives. Prior to her current role, Subah was working as a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist for a large organization in the hospitality sector in Canada where she developed various D&I best practices and events centred around Pride Month, International Women’s’ Day, Inclusive Wellness, and Mental Health. She was also involved in revamping their internal employee recognition and engagement programs. She has held various HR centric roles with healthcare sector in Canada and non-profit sector in India, always with a focus on organizational wellness, culture, and inclusion. Subah holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College as well as a Masters in Commerce from India. Her long-term goal is to learn, grow, and share her learnings in DEI with multiple organizations thereby helping them in fostering an inclusive and safe environment.
