A human resources generalist, with over 25 years of experience, Carol has been with Toronto Humane Society since 2017. As part of the executive team, Carol shares responsibility for the overall strategic direction of THS as well as responsibility for the Human Resources, Volunteer Services, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion departments. Prior to her current role, Carol held human resources positions in the child welfare, hospital, and community health care sectors, always with a focus on DEI and anti-oppression. Carol is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and was a graduate of the first cohort of the joint Leadership & Inclusion Certificate from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) at Centennial College.
