For her MSc, under the supervision of Dr David Fraser, Bailey worked to understand why cats and dogs end up in shelters in the first place with the aim of keeping companion animals in homes when appropriate, as well as assessing how sound impacts cat fear behaviour to improve cat welfare in shelters.
