Having completed her undergraduate degree in Law Enforcement Studies at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, Louise uses her knowledge of the law to assist her while working at the British Columbia SPCA (BC SPCA). Her passion for animals has led her down a career path which has expanded into cross-sector collaboration on making improvements for vulnerable people and pets. Continuing her studies in the field of Criminal Justice, Louise is completing a Master’s degree from the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. Her thesis explores the rationale behind animal cruelty, with a focus on how it relates to other types of crime.
