Adrienne is a lawyer, whose passion for animals led her to a career in animal welfare. In her current role at the BC SPCA, Senior Director - Community Animal Centres, Adrienne oversees the successful operation of the organization’s 40+ locations across the province. Prior to this, Adrienne lead the Guelph Humane Society, as the Executive Director, through significant growth, including fundraising for and building a new community animal shelter, which opened in early 2021 during the global pandemic.

Adrienne also serves as Vice-Chair of two organizations – Humane Canada and Animal Welfare Foundation of Canada (AWFC). Her advocacy interests lie in creating policies and partnerships that benefit people and animals, alike. She also has a keen understanding of the non-for-profit sector.

She studied public communications at the University of Guelph-Humber and earned her law degree at the University of Ottawa. Along with her husband, 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats, Adrienne will soon call Kelowna, BC home.
