Chris Robinson has been a working as a registered veterinary technician for over 30 years. She has worked in both the large and small animal field.

Chris started her volunteer career when she went to the Gulf Coast to assist with the enormous animal disaster relief effort after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Chris joined the Canadian Animal Assistance Team as a volunteer in 2006 and in 2009, was appointed as the Executive Director of this national animal welfare charity organization. Chris continues to travel with the team and is the project coordinator for all the clinics the organization provides in remote and underserved communities.

Chris has been the recipient of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association Award of Merit as well as the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technician’s Award of Merit through the years for her contribution to the veterinary profession as well as her work in animal welfare.
