Paula is a Visiting Professor at Winchester University and chairperson of the UK Centre for Animal Law (A-LAW). Prior to this role, Paula was a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers where she practiced law for many years before moving to the voluntary sector. In her role at A-LAW she oversees the programme of animal law events, publications, and student outreach. She also works closely with animal advocacy groups, lawyers, and academics and frequently lectures about animal law.
