Lexis Ly, BSc, is currently an MSc student in Applied Animal Biology at the University of British Columbia’s Animal Welfare Program. Her work focuses primarily on the relationships between human vulnerability and animal shelter services. A primary goal of her MSc work is to use One Welfare principles to maintain human-animal bonds and help animal welfare organizations provide equitable services.
